On December 20, 2023, students of ASJ Dongguan placed donated items into Angel Boxes. The gifts were diverse, ranging from warm socks and fun toys to books, non-perishable food, and personal care products – each item a heartfelt expression of care and thoughtfulness. Once prepared, the Angel Boxes were delivered to Treasure of Hope (TOH), a charitable organization, to support underprivileged elderly and children in the local community. This heartwarming moment filled every participant with a sense of pride and joy, reminding us that we can all make a difference in the lives of others.
This charity initiative also serves as a meaningful way to teach compassion, empathy, and the spirit of community. By taking part in the Angel Box program, our students are able to make a direct and positive impact on the lives of others – a valuable lesson that will surely stay with them for life.
